Swarms
A few Macs. One model. People you trust.

Show offline swarms
Status and Mac counts are reported by each swarm. Recent offline listings are folded; long-offline listings are hidden and later delisted. Owners can republish.

Lend a Mac, help run a model
The Mycelium helper app for Mac is not published yet.
How it works
- Create a swarm with a name and a registered model.
- Add a helper Mac. Install the app, join with the owner's invite.
- Choose who may use it: open, by request, or invite only.
- Run inference directly on the swarm's Macs.
Swarms you own

Who runs it
The swarm's Macs and its relay can read your prompt. This directory is a phonebook, not an inference service.
Technical details
Start a swarm
You own it with this browser key. Connect Macs after creating the listing.
What happens to your prompt
- Who runs a swarm. The owner's key signs its listing. A swarm is run by whoever runs its Mac, not by Mycelium.
- Where it travels. Your prompt goes from this browser straight to the swarm's own relay (never through this directory), an HTTPS service that can read it in plain text, then to the owner's Mac and the volunteer Macs that compute the answer. Those Macs can see your prompt and the activations. Do not type secrets.
- What is stored. This directory stores no prompts and sets no cookies; your key and grants stay in this browser. Prompts and answers are not stored by the directory or the chat page. The owner's Mac keeps the last 64 answers in memory so your browser can fetch them. The people who run the relay and the Macs could keep their own logs.
- Public swarm statistics. Published performance numbers include first-token and request durations, decode tokens per second, stage compute and hop round-trip times (activation transport or owner control probes) when measured, layer ranges, mode, serving time, request totals, sample counts and measurement windows. These are self-reported by the owner app. No prompts, replies, IP addresses, hostnames or node keys are included in the statistics.
- Your quota. Requests and tokens are limited per key. Limits per network address and a daily cap also apply.
